Event Processing for Helpers, Healers and Healthcare Workers
I enjoy supporting helpers, teachers, caregivers and healthcare workers, or those who are highly empathic and may harbor the stress of their day to day work.

For those of us who dedicate ourselves to caring for others, our own experience of stress or a traumatic event is often de-prioritized and buried within, later impacting the way we feel in our body, the way we function, and the way we engage in relationship. Together, we'll process those lived experiences, lightening the weight of what you carry.

Here, we’ll develop skills for discerning what is yours, and what is the harbored emotion or stress you’ve held for others. We’ll develop tools for differentiating anxiety from intuition, reconnecting to (and turning the volume up on) your innate voice, and restoring regulation and safety in moments of emotional, empathic or sensory overwhelm.

Then, we will re-process your lived experiences or what you have witnessed in the workplace as a "helper", frontline worker or care provider. We will hold space for any emotion that had to be buried as you managed the event, and honor the parts of you impacted by your work.

Many of us who go into "helping" professions are highly sensitive individuals (HSP). Hyper-empathy and hyper-sensitivity are often coping skills with traumatic roots. Perhaps you grew up in a household where you found safety in attuning to or managing others emotions, or you needed to be on high alert to feel or be okay. We can process the roots of why your nervous system and body exhibit a high level of attunement to others, temper that experience, and turn it into a strength. We don’t want to change your sensitivity, we want to shift the way you experience it. Your way of being and perceiving can become your super power and greatest strength.
